Violetta Filipenko

Violetta is an undergraduate Polish philology student at the University of Siedlce, a grant recipient of Narodowa Agencja Wymiany Akademickiej (eng. The National Agency of Academic Exchange), and was a participant in the 2021/2022 Polish preparatory course for students aiming to study in a Polish university, which was organized by The Center for Polish Language and Culture (Pol. Ośrodek Języka Polskiego i Kultury Polskiej) at Siedlce University.
She won first place in the INTERSTUDENT UwS 2024 competition for students and doctoral students - foreigners of the University of Siedlce.
Violetta comes from Kazakhstan and descends from Polish heritage. Her academic experiences not only touch on deepening the content and issues raised in her class lectures, but also include the exploration of graphic design. She is fascinated with the possibilities of expressing herself through virtual tools. For her, they are equally an inspiring source of discoveries, as well as interesting works of literature.

For the Forgotten Polish Female Writers project, her task is publishing content, photos, and scans of documents on the website, while also fulfilling administrative duties related to the website on Facebook.
